Inspiring the next generation at Arcadia Global School, Dubai
With just 36 hours’ notice, I was invited to step into the incredible Arcadia Global School in Al Furjan, Dubai, to speak to 260 ten-year-olds (and a few 9 and 11-year-olds too!) and present my book, The Mind Makeover? My answer was an immediate Yes!
The was a first for me, and that is where the magic happens. In saying YES immediately to opportunities, and then working out the how, second. I showed up with positive intention, and the deep desire to make a difference.
I called my presentation, YOUR SUPERPOWERS, which the children absolutely loved. We played games with a boomerang (bought by the school from Amazon with 24 hours’ notice!), and I taught the boomerang theory: what we throw out as our thoughts, comes back as our emotions and feelings.

This amazing opportunity came about thanks to Holly, the Vice Principal of Arcadia. Holly first saw me speak at the Gladiator Summit II in Dubai in November and was personally inspired by the power of Mind Makeovers. We reconnected in the most serendipitous way when we met again in January 2025 at the Mindvalley Future Human event, and sat next to each other in the VIP area. She shared her vision for her pupils and asked me if I would bring my work and passion to the school. Her passion for empowering children truly touched my heart, and I knew I had to be part of this journey.

Having the chance to inspire and empower 260 beautiful children with tools like gratitude, icebergs, boomerangs, and the magic of the mind being our superpower is an experience I’ll never forget.

The children spent the day before making projects about me and my career. I brought every single project back with me to the UK, irrelevant of weight allowance! I will treasure these forever.
This experience has reminded me of the power of connection, saying yes to opportunities, and sprinkling the magic and power of the mind wherever I go.
I felt so much love and so much empowerment in that school hall, if we could bottle that, the world would be a happier place.

Thanks to Holly Simpson and Principal Andrew Wilson from Arcadia Global School for this incredible opportunity.
Watch below to see how it all unfolded – a moment I’ll carry with me forever.
